2004 Models - Problems

Just bought a Neon. Someone who claims to know a lot about the Neons, says there have been a lot of problems with them so the dealers are trying to get rid of them. Has anyone experienced any problems?

I recently bought a 2000 Dodge Neon, and love it! I had worked for Enterprise Rent-a-car and used the 1st gen Neons and loved them too. Never noticed any problems with mine or the ones at the rental lot. GOOD LUCK and ENJOY!

2004 SX 2.0/Noen

Hey,
I purchased my 04' about 5 months ago. So far everything is running great. But, there have been dcosmetic touch ups needed since I got it. Three days into ownership the "door ding" molding on the driver's door needed to be glued back on. A month later, the shifter boot needed replacement because the threads started to break.

So far, dodge has both imressed and disgusted me. This is my first dodge and for the money its really hard to beat. But, if they don't stop making the cosmetics feel like that of a truly disposable car, it may be my last dodge.

Later,
Dee
