Passenger Side Cornering Turn Signal Lamp/ How to replace?

There is no screw (near or on the lens) to get at the bulb. What do you do to get at that bulb?

As near as I remember, I just removed the plastic inner fender liner. Then you can reach in there and R&R the bulb from the inside.

Just look in your wheel well, you will see a black plastic liner held on with some little pop on fastners...But now that you have me thinking about it, I may have went through the bottom. Buts its the same either way. pop the fasters loose, pull the plastic out enought to get access , and thats it... I do remember that it seemed very easy considering the complaining I heard some people doing about how rough it was.

All you do is take off the wheel and take off the inner plastic stuff. It's a pain taking out all of the fasteners. You will probably break a few and loose a few. But as soon as you have it off, you can just reach right up there and replace the bulbs. Nothing to it. I found it pretty easy (but I have a hoist so I wasn't scrunched down on the ground doing it. I feel sorry for you that have to do it that way.)

Re: Passenger Side Cornering Turn Signal Lamp/ How to replace?

The quickest fix to any Oldsmobile Aurora problem
is getting rid of it!
I had one, it cost me $7500 in repairs in 1 year.
If it's out of warranty get rid of it before the crankshaft, or camshaft seals gives out.
A KNOWN GM problem they are denying racalls for.
My camshaft seals died, and they wanted $5500 to replace the camshafts and seals + labour.
The Aurora's Northstar engine is essentially 2- 4 cylinder engine halves sloppily bolted together.

I may be wrong, but that has nothing to do with turn signalling and corner lamps. Sorry to hear about your troubles with your previous car, however, you will find most AF members here will be buried with their Aurora.

Unless you have something constructive to add to a thread, it would be nice if you would leave it be.

I find it humorous to look at peoples profiles and information when they feel the need to post commenting in a thread with info that has nothing to do with the question wondering if its true Engineering Design / IT admin? maybe the name says it all! The answers to the original ? are correct and really not bad at all to change. You can get replacement fasteners at the auto parts store 6 for $3.00 not a worry.

At least I'm pretty sure I won't be buried IN it. I saw a nasty accident in Chicago this week involving a classic aurora and a Kia Sorento (well, bigger SUV-ish lump of wreckage that said Kia on one end...). That poor Aurora is never going to drive again, but the driver was sure cussing out the idiot who t-boned him. The bad news is I had PLENTY of time to observe this before the wreckers got things opened up.
