yes there is difference. sl500 is model update while the 500SL is pre model update

He's talking about the R230 SL, the new SL Mercedes-Benz released in 2003. Sorry, no model manufacturer has produced it.

Yeah, that's what's he talking about. One small manufacturer, Barraca, has released a modified version, but its not very accurate and costs $200.00!

Actually its Seimitsuya. Its a resin kit with white metal wheels and PE parts. It costs $190.00 U.S.. Here it is...

Nice thanx, the reason I want it so bad is because my mom is paying it, I always have to pay for all my models, hehe! Since she's paying it, I will have the fun of builidng it. She wants it because we just bought the new 2005 Banz SL500 Hard Top Convertible. Its Bling-Blingin!! hehe. So thank You all!

I never understood why people spend so much on benz's when you could get soooooo much more for your money with a BMW or other car. But, if you like it, I guess why not, btw, what does your mom do? isn't like a brand new sl500 over 50k? that's a lot where I live, but, anyways, good luck with the model.
