Re: subs hit at diff times??

are you sure the 2nd sub is actually hitting and not just vibrating from the first sub?

you have the subs wired out of phase ........ take just one of subs out and take the wires from the amp off and put them back reversed from how you took them off

Re: subs hit at diff times??

I'd go with PaulD. Having them wired out of phase can damage them too, so check them asap.

Re: subs hit at diff times??

out of phase can only damage them if they share a chamber in the box. If the box is divided and the chambers are sealed seperately, then he will only get sound variance.

Re: subs hit at diff times??

This isnt about subs but if one of my Pioneer 6x9s was out of phase...could that have caused the "stem" that the mid and tweeter sit on to come loose in there? Its a 3 way so I think you can picture what I mean...its just not tight in there and the bass makes it wobble and rattle now.
