okinawa levin

hey everybody, i don't what to say. if you've never been to okinawa, it's pretty cool over here. except that all the really killer cars are up in mainland japan. but it's still an island so check it out some day. they say that it's the japanese hawaii. i'm from hawaii and it ain't no hawaii but at least there ain't no crime here.

4 month tdy in Honduras. It was quite interesting. I loved it! We AF'ers made fun of the Army guys because they were constantly on "alert" hauling around their 70lb packs, kevlar helmets...the works! And us AF'ers? In baseball squadron caps always heading to eat. The Army guys lived in wooden hootches, while we lived in dorm rooms with a/c! I later moved into a hootch and found it real comfortable.

I'm now in So. Cal.

hahahaha, that's why we step into the blue! It's a hard life bro, but somebody's got to be smart enough to do it. but I guess if they made it too comfortable for those guys, they would lose their edge. it's like the marines over here, they got base curfews. Can't be off base later than like, 0100. can't even have a car unless they got a two year tour. I don't know, all i know is, i'm living off-base, and COLA is a monster here. can't wait to be a civilian again though.
