leaking water in the hatchback??????

My 03 integra is leaking water in the hatchback and i do not know where it is or why. Out of the 3 90-93 integras i have owned, two of them have this problem. Please help me out because i do not have a clue why it is doing this.
thanks, dave

i have not had this prob yet. it might be the rubber around the trunk. just might need to be replaced. but i did have a similar one right above the air inlet for my ac. everytime it rained water came in and flooded the passenger side. a little gasket seal fixed that. but our cars are getting old so it would not suprise me if the rubber was going.

Re: leaking water in the hatchback??????

hey dave, remember how u were selling ur ame intake and u told me that hondas have no intake sensors, well they do. i dont know about the intake pipe clamping straight onto the throttle body coz there are alot of shit coming off the intake pipe like wire and cables and pipes and fat things that look like they need to be there.

Uhh it could also be the gasket around the tailight thats where mine was leaking from and the gaskets are dirt cheap so it wouldn't hurt even if it wasn't what was causing it too leak.

Re: leaking water in the hatchback??????

My bro had this problem...wasn't water, but wiper fluid from the hatch nozzle tubing was leaking down and in. Could that be it?

I had a thread going on this same problem and whtteg suggested it might be the taillight gaskets. Turned out he was right. I had one of the guys sit in the trunk with a flashlight and we sprayed it with water while he looked for the leak. It was coming from the tail-lights. I still have not gotten around to replacing the gaskets or sealing them as yet...

thanks guys, that is going to help me a lot, and if anyone is trying to tell me that a g2 integra has any sensor in the air intake than they need to think about what they are writing before they do it.
but for all the other guys out there actually answering the question that i asked, i certainly appreciate it.....
later
dave
