All Hx owners with the cvt

i need info on a better launch in my hx with the cvt i have quite a few things done like aem cold air, flowtech compublue header, apexi N1 catback, aem power pulley's, tokico blues, coilovers (hate them)but they work, mugen style carbon hood, R1 carbon drag wing,Seats and harnesses, autometer guages, mugen radiator cap , silicon radiator hose , ground system, spoon sports accents, civic type r accents, black housings, and a couple of other things but i need a better launch really bad only if i had a better launch, i keep up with almost anything within reason, ive spanked eclipse's, civic ex's all day, but i need info on mods so i can get a quicker 0-60 that's the only thing i have trouble with i can keep it at 6800 all day its just getting there thats the problem from idle to 3000 rpm sucks but better watch your @$$ after that believe me people think auto's are slow but you haven't seen a modded Hx.

Re: All Hx owners with the cvt

On The Civic Hx. Did You Install All Aftermarket Parts Made For A Hx Or Did You Buy Some Ex Parts And Install. I Have A Obx Header, Obx Cat, And Skunk 2 Cat Back And Was Wondering If It's Gonna Fit Correctly On The Hx Without Ant Modifications

Re: All Hx owners with the cvt

i would like to ride in one of these cvt civics... never had the chance before.

use the search feature for this. i don't remember how long ago it was but there was a topic about launching with a cvt on this forum. it has been several months so i don't remember anything from it but you will probably find it

contionuously variable transmission, its a honda econo-smart auto tranny for their vics ans such, good mileage, and aside from your physical shifting, feels like youre driving a stick
