Intake for 1990 Cherokee

Hey, i've been looking around for a performance air intake system for my 4.0L I-6 Cherokee and recently i was thinking about getting one off of ebay for like 30 bucks, but i'm not sure how well built it is, etc. Anybody know of any decent intakes for a 1990 Cherokee? Anybody have any experience with one that they liked/disliked? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: Intake for 1990 Cherokee

I can't say that I have ever heard of a performance intake for a 90' 4.0. If your looking for performance may I suggest a K&N Filter kit, and maybe a throttle body spacer. Banks makes a exhaust header kit for the 4.0, all this and a performance muffler and your XJ should really be able to throw some mud. Oh, also look into JET performance chips.

Ya sorry, i didn't mean to say performance, what i am talking about is those cold air intake kits. I have seen many brands in the various jeep magazines i get and i was just wondering if anybody tried one that they either really enojoyed or that they just ahted.
