96 electrical problems
I am new to this sort of thing-hope someone can help. My 96 4.6L Thunderbird just lost the keyless entry,power door locks, dome light, hood light, trunk light, and glove box light. If the switch is off, no power door lock at all-If the engine is running, the door lock will lock, but not unlock. The trunk release will work from the console as usual. If you try and lock the door with the power lock while the car is switched off, the instrument lights come on as well as the parking lights and tail lights. I think this is all I have discovered so far. I suspect some wiring leg or ground is out and causing something to feed in reverse, but need some help. Also, one direction of the turn signals does not always work right on occasion- blinks fast, if you turn off and back on will be OK. Is this the possible source?
