Buying a truck

i found a F-Series truck..four wheel drive 5 spd...lifted and the bid ol tires. not sure which motor...but im just looking for a general overview of the trucks...what to look out for..blablabla...of..and its a late 80s model i believe...i just saw it for a couple of minutes

I'd say....only coz my uncle had an f-150 that if it is in good nic it sounds alright.....make sure you do all the obvious stuff but ...get a mechanic or someone to look it over....other than that f-trucks no matter what model are genaerally are phat as!!

Something that old...good like finding specifics! Best thing would be to talk to a mechanic or 2 about that kind of truck and see what they recommend you look for.

With that vague a description i can't say anything other then that. Bring specifics and i can tell you more.
