RB26DETT Integra GTR Project

Since i have little money right now i decided to redo my integra

So whats it in for?
Wide Body kit
RB26DETT
and im sure i can think of more things between now and when i finish it

With some modifications i got the Tamiya RB26DETT to fit into the engine bay

Im using Bondo for the body kit, since it drys in minutes i dont have to wait a week to sand it or any thing like that
Right now the body isnt in the best of shape, its gonna take some time to get it to the right way i want it, but i have this idea in my head, the front will come out on each side like the Blitz body kit, and will resemble it in a way, but still resemble the Veilside body kit for the S2000, it might be kinda hard to imagine for some of you, but i can so im gonna try it.

I think im gonna go with a light blue or Candy Apple Red for the body, and the same for the engine bay, with some Chrome excesories (spelling?)

its kinda late, sorry for the pics not being best condition.

PLEASE GIVE ME SOME FEED BACK

Be careful what you ask for. Building an Integra with a Nissan motor will cause mixed emotions around here. Build it the way you like best. That's all the advice I can give you for this project.

Re: RB26DETT Integra GTR Project

seems like a pretty ambitious project. i like how ur using nissan to power the honda. lol, or rather the fact that ur swapping useless honda power for the best japanese company, nissan. the wide body looks good.
but one question, y recycle old models? just save up $15 and get another teg.

well, in the end a few weeks from now i would end up scraping parts from this model any way for another project, thats how i usually am.

And actually i do have about $80 right now, but i have to pay $50 on Sunday to go to an amusement park with my gf, and plus, gas money, tires for the car im driving, to put the tires on, etc, i will be in debt and will end up having to borrow money, and so i might as well forget buying a new model for the time being.

I like it, but my critisism is about your engine bay, looks a bit roughly carved, clean up the edges a bit!

ahhh thats the secret of my success, any one ever see a picture of a chassis from ANY car ive ever made?

im not sure how it will all work, im gonna try to make a slightly detailed chassis, but i usually forget about the chassis, cuz i like to look at the body, and the engine.

I was planning on making it rear wheel drive, uh oh, this wont be a 4 wd car

its too early in the morning

Top Secret Style is a good way to describe it, but there are gonna be no graphics, etc, eewwwwww graphics make me want to puke, whether its a JGTC Supra, or a civic crusing in my town

also, i wont have much progress till Saturday at the earliest, i must go out of town some time tomorow due to a death of family friend, no worries there, please no one apologize.

but when i get back, all hell brakes loose

Re: RB26DETT Integra GTR Project

Heres my little 2cents by the way...

I think you shouldn't "cram" the engine, into that small Enginebay. It looks very choppy...

Instead cramming the engine in to that stock typeR bay, you should Cut the Engine Bay away from the Interior, So that way, you'll have more space.. You will just have to rebuild the wheelwels with styrene, and what not..
