someone help with electronics...!!

Today i installed a red neon license plate frame, and when i was done installing it i went to the store and everything was fine. on my way back, the computer display meter with the mpg, oil life, etc.. started flickering.. thats the only thing that flickers, and even when i disconnected the neon frame it still flickered. could it be from the frame, or is it from something else? does anyone have any idea what could be wrong or how to fix it?

where did u wire it too? hardwire to battery or is it ran into ur fuse box? u may have messed with teh fuse if u ran to the fuse box... something taht has to do with ur interior accesory lights and shit..

all i did was cut the wires of the license plate light and hook up the neon light directly to those wires. i didnt go anywhere near a fusebox or anywhere near the front of the car

i also heard that it might be possible interference from the transformer that came with the light... can anyone verify this?

hrmmm usually with all neons u should hardwire to battery with a inline fuse in between to protect all electronics....
