Well, I know that on my 1999 the fuel filter in on the fuel pump which is in the gas tank. The type of filter used here is usually trouble free and will last the life of the tank. It consists only of a flat screen type strainer. There are no other filters on the 1999.

does anyone also know where the 93 model has it's fuel filter and is it difficult to replace ?

my car starts but after 20 sec it shuts down and will start again 20 min later or so.. in between it starts with lots of effort... but not really
