D16A mods?
What mods can i get for my D16A engine? I have the 4 door 90 ex like it says in my sig. So far i've found an AEM cold air intake, a stillen cat-back exhaust, some DC 4-2-1 headers. Seen a few turbos for the D16 engine in CRX's, but not sure if those would fit for my car. They're located at http://www.turbo-kits.com/crx_turbo_kits.html . I'd do an engine swap but i don't really have the time and/or money yet. Car is auto by the way. Any suggestions? N don't tell me to get another car unless ur gonna buy it for me

Re: D16A mods?
Short and simple, you can get any thing you want for that motor.

Re: D16A mods?
The parts are there, just look and you will find them. Intake, cams, pistsons, rods, headers, valves/springs, reprogramed ecu's. The list is endless. Narrorow it down to a specific part when your searching, like "type R cam b16a" insted of "performance parts for b16a"

Re: D16A mods?
Just noticed you said D16A, but the principles the same, if its a honda motor someone makes parts for it.

Re: D16A mods?
Yeah like everyone else said, you can get anything you could think of for a a6. But since you said you've got a auto slush box, I think your first move should be converting it to 5 speed.

Re: D16A mods?
First of all, start with the basics, give your motor a nice tune-up then go buy an intake, a good header, and a cat-back exhaust system. Then save up some money and go internal, get yourself a nice port/polish job along with a beefy cam and a 3 angle valve job, while the head is off, get it milled a bit. You will be happy with these results.

Re: D16A mods?
First Auto to standard go for a Si tranny Dx is better than auto but Si best. Then go for a Cam one of the best investments you can make for a6. Power per dollar best IMO.

Re: D16A mods?
Dont spend $500 or so for a cat-back exhaust. Just buy a muffler, resonator, and have an exhaust shop make you a custom 2.25" or 2.5" exhaust. It will be a lot cheaper if you are on a budget.
