while driving on a long trip, radiator bottle cracked. Engine overheated but never got to red on gauge. Engine died as I was pulling off interstate. Since then have check engine light with codes PO302 and 302. This is misfire on cylinder 1 and 2. Ignition is fine. Both cylinders get plenty of spark. Cylinder 1 compression is 95psi, 2 was 120 psi. cylinder one is a little low, but I have 95000 miles on this car. Anyone have any ideas what cause might be?

Re: 2001 taurus PO301&302
thermostat probably went bad and caused you to partially fry cylinder 1.
