Oh, and 1 more thing....how can deez postings be inappropriate when I've seen all kinds of bad words (profane and obscene) and talk about butts and boobs in the coffee break forum on this web site ???????????????????? There is even a poll on what body parts guys prefer on girls, boobs, butts, eyes, legs, etc.

Thanks, that does clear some things up. But I'm not going to discuss economics or debate about internet business models. It's up to TS to make their own decisions in that regard. That said, AF is still free to all, and seems like it will remain so for a little while longer.

The management here at AF has adopted a fairly lax policy about posting profane words. We're all adults here; they aren't anything you won't hear on the street or on TV or in the movies, so we've decided not to police our member's words.

But there's a place for everything. You mentioned that you saw most of it in the coffee break forum. True. This is an automotive site and the focus is on cars (or trucks... ). The coffee break forum is our Off Topic area and I'll admit it can get a little wild. But who cares? It's a minor part of the site, and is the least relevant to the goals of the site.

What you forgot to mention is that jewel you posted above, which was posted by one of our Moderators, was not only posted in the coffee break section, but more specifically, in the Stress Release forum. The Stress Release forum is obviously where you will find a high number of "offensive" posts, and as such, is bears a disclaimer: "Warning: Don't get offended by what's in here." To SaturnTangerine's credit, and because she knows that threads will often appear in search results with the corresponding forum listed (but in this case without the disclaimer), she titled that thread "D@mn B@stard!!!!!--Language Warning," thereby censoring herself in the title, which can be viewed from outside the Stress Release forum, but also included a warning that more strong language was contained inside, for any members with delicate sensibilities. Good luck finding an AF Moderator that can find fault in that. You, however, just transplanted it into a Tundra forum, where it has absolutlely no place. Now I have to figure out where to move it to.

The funny thing is, if you had dug a bit deeper, you would have found posts far worse than hers that have been posted by me.

Your posts are inappropriate in that they show disrespect for another AF member. This is not tolerated. We do not care what anyone does or says on other websites. Here everyone is equal and deserves to be treated with respect. You are all welcome, and all your opinions are valid. (But, when your facts are proven wrong you're on your own! )
