Heater core leak?

I have a leak on the interior passenger floor of my 92 s-10 blazer. I don't see any visible leaks in the engine or outside. The leak seems to be coolant. Could this be the heater core? Please advise.

200 bux???! Wow... The core is only 30 bux, and you can install it yourself in about 2 hours...

How is the heater core installed? Can a non-mechanic attempt this job?

Easily, the core itself is about 30 bux, simply pull the dash out on the right side 2-3 inches, then 4 7mm screws along the top, disconnect the 2 hoses in the engine compartment, install in reverse...Here's a good how-to, it shows 1st gen, but it still applies to second gens as well... http://www.sytyarchives.com/howto/vi...imate_controls

Re: Heater core leak?

For us '95 and up owners, the dash assy has to tilt down and about 2 hours in and out. Been there done that! And yes, the part was about $30 bucks.
