$300 Budget!

I will $300 soon, things I want to accomplish, but since I know nothing [but want to learn] about cars, need help with.[4thgen 4dr]. The car is ALL stock. Help?!?

1. Increase Acceleration.
2. Make it roar like a beast.
3. Increase Handling
4. Increase performance.

Also, I replaced my Gauge plates [with the printed out ones I made from one of the threads here] And now all my gauges are whacked out. I'm showing empty fuel, i just filled it up, im showing overheat, and my RPMs either start of at 3, or dont go down, just up.
I removed the needles like I was told to. I marked where to put them back in, now its all fucked, what can I do to fix it?

Re: $300 Budget!

Well for $300 there is no way your going to get all of those categories unless you pay a friend $300 to steal a bunch of shit for you

First of all, what model is your 4g4d. If it is a DX or LX I would say swap from DPFI to MPFI.

Re: $300 Budget!

Ok you have a d15b2 (im guessing since you said its stock) with dual point fuel injection. The EX 4 doors (and Si hatchback/crx's) have what is called multi point fuel injection which allows your engine to get more fuel. Performance wise, this would probably be the best bang for your buck. Here is a link http://www.fourthgenhatch.com/mpfi.html

That has everything you need for the swap, and should answer most your questions on the swap.
