Racer X Motorsports & Sport Compact Pro

I filled an aplication for sponsorship out on this website 4 montsh ago, i just wanted this free dvd they were giving all the aplicants (never got it, go fucking figure) but they called me at work today and asked me if i was still intrested in sponsorship. i told them i'd get back with them on monday. i never expected them to call me. i've never heard of Racer X Motorsports & Sport Compact Pro (scp), so i did a little searching and found good, bad, about them. so.. have any of you heard the scoop on these bitch asses?

Minimum sponsorship contract value is $5,000.00

"If you are accepted for sponsorship, a sponsorship performance or show contract will be sent to you. An account will be set up with your sponsors and Racer X Motorsports. A $79.00 account set up fee for your sponsorship pack, agreement and parts delivery will be charged only if you are offered a sponsorship contract valued at $10,000.00 or higher."

website for sponsorship
https://secure.cnchost.com/getsponsored.net/page1.htm

i'd like it if somone may beable to inlighten me on the situation at hand. if there a bunch of fuck faces i'll turn it down, if their alright, i may think about free good stuff..

Re: Racer X Motorsports & Sport Compact Pro

Sounds a little sketchy to me. It doesn't seem like there should be an $80 set-up fee if they don't have a problem giving you $10,000 worth of parts...

I would proceed with extreme caution. Also, their website is not at any domain I recognize...cnchost.com? Is that even affiliated with these companies?

Wink Sport Compact Pro

I received a call on October 20th from a guy at SCP after going on-line to 'check out' the sponsorship process. It had been about a month after I had 'not completed' my application. By 'not completed', I mean,
I had started the app process and decided at the end that it wasn't real, or was it I didn't want to pay the $89??! So, I did not actually complete the application. Somehow, he had my info anyway.

Anyhow, he called me to see if I was still interested, and after a moment of confusion, and a few questions, I said yes. So, I'm expecting my paper work, he said, in about two weeks (about a week as of today). I was told that the 2003 Neon SXT in my area had to be totalled-out and they needed another.

It sounds legit to me, but I am Miss gullible. I checked them out through the Better Business Bureau website, and it all looks great!

So, I guess we'll see. I am anxious to get started on the mods to my car!!

Thanks!

P.S. Oh, yeah, if you are gonna write with that foul mouth, you should really learn how to spell before you actually post it for people to read and take you seriously. Thanks again!

Damn sde1972 you are about to get screwed over but ignore all the warnings and go right on. I will be laughting my ass off when you finally fugure out its a scam and you got fucked up. Besides, you drive a dodge pffff come on , are you expecting speed out of that crap or what ??
There are a lot more fake sponsorship companies out threre that benefit different ways but this one especially is hella tricky. I have heard a lot about this SCP from other forums and its nooooo good.

Re: Racer X Motorsports & Sport Compact Pro

Trust me, HUGE HUGE HUGE scam. You do not choose parts from vendors and they pay 55% like they tell you. They pay 55% of what /their/ vendors are selling it for. It a TINY bit less than retail in the end. But you go off and do what other retarded fucking things you wanna, then call other people stupid. Have fun!

Re: Racer X Motorsports & Sport Compact Pro

yes, any sponsorship you have to pay for is not a sponsorship. You don't need to do anything to get accepted. They make yo feel good by telling you that they like you our your car but I've seen people get "accepted" with beat up old berettas and stuff. I'd like to "apply" with a complete piece of shit car and see if I get "accepted". My friend has a beat up '85 Tercel rotting in our back yard, maybe I should try it.

Re: Racer X Motorsports & Sport Compact Pro

hey all..just reged to post for this... but ill eb coming back here.

i also got a call from SCP and carsponsorships.com. they were very excited telling me i was sponsored for this an that. im a endorsed musician so i knwo a bit abotu being sponsored. again i said theyu were very helpful and excited in trying to find me stuff i coudl qualify for until....

i told them what kinda car i have. 1975 280Z 5 speed, slightly modified.

they said, well, we have stereo and decal and lightig kits.. i said i dont need/want those. do you haev any body kits, engine parts, etc?

they said they are not affiliated with any engine co's as street racing si illegal. i told them im a registered/licenced autocrosser and the guy (SCOTT his name was) didnt knwo what that meant.

anyway, after 30 minutes on the phone, no one there coudl find me anything for the car. he said he was gonna send me soem paperwork and soem decals and id get em in 2 weeks. i said fine.

THAN it hits me. after i hung up i realized i filled out something online to get this fool to call me anyway. and lo and behold i saw an 88 dollar charge on my card the next day. ive since had it reveresed with my bank, thank god! so well see what happenes next.

PLEASE FOR TEH SAKE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY. I DONT KNWO ABOTU CARS, BUT IN MUSIC REALITY YOU NEVER HAVE TO SEND ANYONE MONEY TO GET STUFF. that only happens if lets say you get a 75% off deal, than of course you pay the differance.

speaking of the co's these guys use, i went to all there sites and the stuff looks liek crap. oh i almost forgot, he offered me verticle doors. i said thast cool, if i get them for free. he saoid no, about 1500. i can get teh kits myself from a magazeene cheeper than that! the best part is, is they say they have deals with dunlop, so i asked abotu tires...and guess what. they couldnt even find anythign to fit my rims...wierd. they are STOCK NISSAN RIMS! idiots.

see kids, if this was a REAL endoresement company they woudl find you stuff that woudl work in your car!!!!!

striek 3 with me. anyone else actually take pix of there "products installed" lets see them
