Phantom Grip LSD - any experiences?

Heyas,
Saw a pahntom grip being sold on ebay and it seemed too good to be true so I checked it out (Phantom Grip site) and I cant quite tell if its a gimmick, and how its going to affect the car's handling.

Has anyone used one of these before? There's even a tutorial on z31.com on how to install one, and it seems simple enough. I dont know if I should get one of these or just get a r200 lsd out of a z31 turbo or 240sx or whatever. These phantom grip things are certainly cheaper than the LSDs at wreckers around here but I feel a little wary of these people. It reminds me of those ridiculous claims made by ProCharger about how a bit of plastic in your intake is going to get you 20hp gains etc.

Any thoughts appreciated!
