Damn those are nice! I saw you mentioned that you had uprated springs on your old (
) G. So does that mean that you can get these in any spring rate? |

yep, you can get these in any spring rates you want. I had 2 sets of spring rates thinking that i would use the softones for street....but i got lazy and never did so i always drove with the harder ones.

Are those a shortened strut/shock setup too? Doesn't look like it, but also the bumpstops look very large, so i'm thinking that may be why there looks to be about normal amount of travel for a coil-over setup...

Hey guys, I just bought Luke's "old" P11 G20 yesterday with the JIC coilovers, and I have to put in my recommendation for this package. Even with the stiffer springs it's very bearable on the rough streets of West LA. Compared to my brother's B14 SE-R with GC/AGX combo and 350/250 lb. (I think) spring rates, this feels much more supple. It even passes the girlfriend-comfort-o-meter. The handling is definitely nice, although I haven't pushed it anywhere near its limits yet so I can't really comment here.
Luke's also a good guy and I want to help him finance his next car project, so you should buy these from him. |

Oh, I almost forgot. I too am wondering whether the shock bodies are shortened. They feel like they have a fair amount of travel even though the car is pretty low. Anyone know the answer? The springs also feel like they might be progressive since they're so comfortable yet still handle well. Anyone care to shed some light here? TIA

Those springs look linear to me. I'd also like to know what the dimentions of these are. I'll dig out my stock struts and measure them. If someone has a change to measure the AGX (I'm thinking they are stock) TEIN's, JIC and any other shock we can get for our car I think it would be a nice resource for future reference.

woohoo, thanks for the kind words Dan
Anyway, as for the length of the strut housing, for the P11 the JICs are a lot shorter than the TEINs thus it gives a lot more suspension travel than stock. I can't say the same for the P10 since I never worked on one but I would assume it is

the strut housing is shorter than the factory P10 shocks and the bushing is modifiable to your driving behavior.
no one's interested so far?

$1350 shipped (in the US) for the coilover as for the height range, it's basically whatever you want...see the threads that's on the strut? that's where you can higher/lower the car.
