95 4runner v6 engine problems

i dont know much about cars and i the last time i changed my oil was 5 months ago and now my engine makes this clunking sound but you can still drive it. but when i drive it it doesnt even pick up speed. i know its because of the oil or something because there wasnt any oil left. does anyone know wat specific thing that is wrong?

Put some oil in it through the cap on top of the engine. Try 5W30. Fill it until the dipstick on the front of the engine says it's full. Check the oil level when the engine is not running.

Read your owner's manual. If you don't have one, buy one from Toyota.

First thing is follow my first post. Second thing is bring it to a mechanic someone recommends to you. IF you don't follow my first post, you won't have an engine left to work on.
