engin swap

hi i have a 1990 civic si. and i recenty bought a 92 integra 1.8 dohc for parts. i was wondering if i need to change the engin mounts to fit the 1.8 in.

yup its a b18a you got there you'll need a mount kit I have a hasport kit and am very happy with it althought i've seen the ebay kits and they looked nice there a few other things that need changing too to put a B in your car but search and you'll find everything you need then some

oh ok thanks
but i looked at the mounts and they look the same to the eye. oh by the way it isn't vtec. how much are the mounts ruffly.

you need mounts the motor will not fit without them. you also need some other things you can try http://www.hasport.com/

there you will find stuff you will need...just look under products... pretty much shows everything.

does the mount kit just advance , or push back the engin. or is it becasue the mounts don't align.

a couple told me that it is a simple bolt in. cause it is the same block.

you have a D16a6 in your si the teg has a B18a... its not the same

ok
well its obvious the engins are not the same.but isn't the block the same or similar (the bottom part of the engin)the same or similar.obviously the head is different. thats what i ws told
