how much is too much?
Is there such thing as too much mileage on a car to start modifying the engine?
I ask this because in my case i have a 119,000 mile 94 Honda Prelude VTEC stock. It stills runs great but im just afraid ill end up modding the engine only to have it die on me or cost me an arm and a leg to repair. Not to mention that i dont have the cash flow to swap out for a new engine either... Id love to mod the car but im afraid itll be all for nothing if the S.O.B. dies on me ya know? whats everyone think? |

Re: how much is too much?
well is the motor in good running order? sounds it from you post. So its ok to start messing with it yes its high but if your worried rebuild it with better things like higer*lower* comp pistons new rods vavles etc. But if your talking about bolt ons you should be fine somthing like a catback will not affect the motor at all.

Re: how much is too much?
as long as you are not trying to get higher rpms, I think the engine will be good, Prelude Engines are not High rpm friendly.
