Brake Job - Need Help
Can someone tell where I can find online information on changing the front brake pads on a 92 honda accord or should I just go buy a manual?
I need to do this job myself and want to make sure I don't mess it up. I've don't brakes on chevy's and I'm not sure if it's close to being the same type of job. I appreciate any info I can get. Thanks! |

Re: Brake Job - Need Help
Changing front pads is easy.
Do the obvious, lift vehicle & remove tires Remove 1 lower caliper bolt Pivot caliper up Remove old pads Squeeze caliper piston in install new pads lubed Pivot caliper down Re-install bolt Time for the other side. The brake rotors should get replaced or cut with new pads or they will not last very long. Don't forget to pump brakes before driving. |
