Tamiya 1/24 Honda Fit (Completed heavy pics) [shieldwulf]

I deviated from my R34 Skyline project and started this since April 2004 as a local hobby shop scale modelling lesson, albeit instructor led, to build and paint this kit, and to learn new skills. Probably as the car was painted in red, the photos taken with my digicam turned out dark and dull even with ample lighting. I had quite a hard time adjusting the digital photos using Adobe Photoshop. So pardon me if some of these pictures are still kind of dark.

One of the most challenging part of this kit was masking and airbrushing the bottom part of the exposed engine box and the exhaust piping system on the chassis. The whole chassis (less only the short piece of single exhaust pipe outlet) was one piece moulded. What was Tamiya thinking!!?

And most of the exhaust was molded in? I couldn't tell until I scrolled back up to read that!! Great job on the exhaust. Interior is finely detailed as well.
