Hey can I get some advice, on my 91 Celica GT Convertible I am planning on buying a new muffler or a cat back system. I want something with a deep sound and loud, but not too loud that the gay ass cops around here are gonna pull me over for. The Cat Back i was looking at was a Monza Big Bore system made by Pacesetter. I need some performance out of it but its mostly for sound. What would you guys do?

i would reccomend what i have done... I full custom setup. Go to a shop and get custom headers made.... maybe 4-2-1.
Then get a cat from borla or somwhere and have it installed with the custom ONE piece pipe. They should make it out of a 12-15foot pipe thats going to be bent in shape. Then get a apexi n1 muffler. DONT go over 2.5 inches or its gona sound like a honda. Most likely you have a 5sfe and unless boosted, which most ppl dont, get bigger pipes..

Hey, I'd like to do that but I really dont have that kind of money. I only plan on spending $200-$300 on the exhaust. Any advice?

yes, go to jcwhitney or somewher,,, look at the cat's. Pick one thats appropriate for your size (stock pipes) and get the muffler for your sound. I got mine from e-bay... a mufflers a muffler unless for show. Cost me 50 bucks but im am replacing it with an authentic apexi n1. Some on ebay are real nice, others can be over or undersized. So i would try to find a muffler local. Size is important. Small makes deep sound. Big makes gay honda sound...
