Are you refering to the crank on the stock mirrors? They don't remove, and you don't re-use of re-install them. You don't use a "crank" to adjust the mirror manually...you roll down the window and MANUALLY adjust it with your figures by pushing on it.

So basically, you don't need to remove it, just remove the mirror. Know the crank knob comes off (so you can remove the mirrors), if thats what you mean.

Re: CF mirrors

On the edm mirrors you should be able to clip the top of the crank of (it is just clicked in there). If you have removed this part, you should be able to see a screw. Unscrew it and take the crank off. Now remove the plastic triangle on the inside (it just clicks out) and you can unscrew the mirrors.

1) there not reall CF, it's CF look, like the taillights and headlights, etc.

2) For 92-95 Manaul CF M3 style mirrors (without the led turn signal) you shouldn't be paying any more than $80 tops.

Re: CF mirrors

Does anybody have any experience with the LED mirrors made by SPW? They have an M3 LED/power mirror model that has spring back built in.

Thanks!

i think the CF LED mirrors look ugly, the CF mirrors alone would look better? did you buy your CF mirrors off Ebay?

Well, ny price wasn't as Ebay price...I never buy anything off ebay, never have never will. I want to see it beofre I buy it. Secondly, I have had issues with junk breaking, and if it's off ebay your SOL. I have gotten the place of purchse to warrenty a product several times before, and if I'd gone to ebay to save $30, I'd have spent $80 more in the end.

I have the same question kinda. Do i have to remove the door panel to remove the inner triangle thing to the mirror?
