98' Breeze vs 97' Eclipse GS

ok Well i was out cruising in my bro's BReeze and this Eclipse pulls up right next to me we were doing about 40 i go alittle faster and he is still there so i asume he wants to race. We are doing 45 and we both drop it
(the Breeze is auto 2.0). I start pulling on him about a couple of cars then he starts catching up, passes me and gets a little less than a car in front then we even out for a while. Then i start to catch up but never got to pass him because there was a car in front of me. My question is wy did he take so long to catch up and why was i going to beat him?

I think the Eclipse had
header

intake
underdrive pulley

The Breeze has a
Header
Intake
Underdrive PUlley
hiflow cat
bigger TB
TB Spacer
and AUTOMATIC

Re: 98' Breeze vs 97' Eclipse GS

I'm suprised someone would waste money modding a Plymouth Breeze.

Re: 98' Breeze vs 97' Eclipse GS

well we had no other car and yea it was a waste of money, but for some reason it still beats alot of imports.
