RSX Vs. V-Spec?

Well this is just something I wanted to know my buddy has a new V-Spec and he wants to race me for $10 gas money what chance do I have in beating him? My buddy has a minor modded GS-R and he ripped one of those a new asshole. he was wondering if I can do the same thing?

Re: RSX Vs. V-Spec?

What are you running? Type S? I've seen video of this race. Spec V pulls slightly at the beginning due to it's torque, but gets smoked when the RSX gets going. Bet alot more money and roll from second or third gear to start. Embarrass him.

Re: RSX Vs. V-Spec?

Its fairly quick but its a crapp car

Iunno, I think it might come down to a drivers race. Deflate his tires for good measure.

Re: RSX Vs. V-Spec?

I don't think he can win in an unmodded base RSX. The Spec V, although a cheap piece of shite, has more hp and torque. It'll kill you off the line. Head over to the Nissan forum and see if you can get an unbiased opinion...

Re: RSX Vs. V-Spec?

Yes it is. Keep in mind there are two SE-R's, the regular and the Spec-V, the latter being the better.

Re: RSX Vs. V-Spec?

I suppose it would be irrelevant who wins that race, seeing as how he has a base model.

Re: RSX Vs. V-Spec?

I got my money on the Sen. does things r not a walk-in the park like most people thing there pretty fast....now if u had a RSX-S then it's a different storie still I thing the Sen. will give the Type-S a run for it's money....so fact is the Sen. should win by 2-3 car's...a base RSX and give a Type-S a drivers RACE

Re: RSX Vs. V-Spec?

Type-S is not a driver's race as long as you have enough time to hit about third gear. Wouldn't be much of a race, otherwise, anyway...
