Subs on ebay?

I have been looking into upgrading my system. I have checked through ebay, and noticed that they have the best deals that I could possibly get. I was looking at set of Audiobahn 15's that come with box and manufactures warranty. I would just like to see if anyone has bought any electronic equipment from ebay, to make sure that I would receive the product.

Re: Subs on ebay?

I highly doubt it comes with the manufacturer's warranty, he's most likely lying to sell more and when you have problems you'll be bent over.

Re: Subs on ebay?

You won't get the warranty, it says so even on the card - you can't get it if purchased from a place other than an authorized dealer. But you do get what it says - I got an Audiobahn amp on their, brand new and everything for cheap. But it blew after 3 days without any stress on it whatsoever... so I would reccomend something other than Audiobahn.

Re: Subs on ebay?

About the warranty, that's what I thought. Thanks everyone for the input.

A friend got me hooked. After hearing the sound from his 12's, which have lasted him over a year, they seemed to be an awesome brand and extremely affordable from Ebay. The deal was 2 15" subs (including the sub box), for $164 and the $50 S&H fee. Any other suggestions for around the same price area?

those would be better than the audiobahn's, much better sq, maybe not the same output as the 15's, but with the right install you'll probly be much happier. but if you liked how those audiobahn's sounded, and you just want them to get loud, i'd say that the audiobahns wouldn't be a bad choice, but if i were you i'd get the diamonds...

Mostly rap. That is why I chose the 15's. But I will look into a different selection of subs before I buy, just to see what else is around.

objection one, i bet haibane knew i would object, but for me i wouldn't be satisfied with the sound quality that the audiobahns have, i'd say one 15'' adire tempest will sound better, and will prolly outplay your buddies audiobahns, they will definitly sound better, you may be lacking some output, but will sound better. keep in mind this is just my opinion, and since you seem like the sort of guy that would buy a prefabricated box for any sub, i think that you would be happy with the audiobahns, btw the tempes is 150$

Re: Subs on ebay?

I have tons of experience with audiobahns. I would NEVER reccomend one of their amps...theyre underated and fry very easily...as for their subs...stay away from the lower lines, but the better ones aren't bad....I ran 2 flame q 12's for a while off of an a18001dt and it POUNDED and sounded VERY good esp. for audiobahn... I ahd better sq then a friend of mine who has a jl audio w3v2 12....he even admitted I did....this is the only line I would ever consider running but since my brahmas are on the way im sure ill never go back to audiobahn.....if you want some nice 15's look into tepests and resonant engineerings se line.... I'd definately get something better then audiobahn except for the flame q's.

Re: Subs on ebay?

If he is just looking to bump the bass, honestly I think audiobahn gets the loudest for the cost
