Whats the difference between a normal h22a and a h22a longblock? Performance difference?

The way I understand it, 'longblock' simply refers to an engine sold without tranny or accessories. That is, not a complete swap package.

the difference is that a long block contains the head, intake and some other accessories depending on what the shop sells with it. if you get ashort block then all you get is the block with no head ort accessories
