let's get in line now

for tickets..heheh

i saw this on moviecarz.com. This was under their "casting call" page. Looks like some of us will be getting some motivation for some new projects in the future.

NOW PRE-CASTING FAST & FURIOUS 3!!

UPDATE JUNE 10th, 2004: As reported previously, the sequel script IS undergoing revisions after a quick trip to Japan for research. It has been reported that Vin Diesel will return if the script works for him. We ARE NOT AT LIBERTY TO DISCUSS any further details of the script or the filming location(s) yet, nor can we divulge if the script will revolve around SUV's on DUBS or on Drifting.

WHAT KIND OF CARS WILL BE CONSIDERED?

IT IS OUR BELIEF that since this movie is now a major franchise and attracting major sponsors, Universal will (wisely)look to pick some of the main cars through traditional "paid product placement." This is not a bad thing...in fact, in might be quite good. This might reduce the need to cast starring vehicles from outside. However, they will definitely need "extra" cars. That's where MovieCarZ.com clients come in.

Re: let's get in line now

The car does have Vin Diesel back in it, he ran to mexico and is called by a friend in Tokyo who is in trouble and needs help so Diesel goes to Tokyo to enter the street scene there. That isn't a joke it is something i read about the movie a while back.

William

Fast and the Furious are pretty funny movies and not bad for entertainment value but i think it makes me sick to my stomach how many people in my area have taken the movie as a bible to street racing rather than just an entertaining (sp) movie.

My point with modeling is that with each movie, modelers on this forum have tried to replicate the 'stars' (i.e. the supra, rx-7 in the first one and the skyline, the muscle cars and an s2k or 2 from the second).

It was just an fyi, hope it didn't bother anyone, I've just seen many models here that are directly from the 2 movies, so I figured I'd share some info about the fact that a 3rd was coming out. I don't want to get on your bad side vric, but you don't have to read these threads if you feel they are a waste. You are an excellent modeler and I admire your work. I assume a moderator can decide whether or not to keep this thread. This wasn't an ad for their website, nor was my quote an attempt to recruit members' 1:1's. So I apologize if it was taken as such

If you do a simple search, I believe anyone can see , as much as I wouldn't like to believe it, that those movies in fact have inspired many builds. And I assume this upcoming movie will do the same.

That's the point with modeling.

if the movie will have Vin Diesel then it will be sick. because he wont make a stupid movie.

if it doesnt it will be shit.

Re: let's get in line now

It can stay because it's loosely related to modelling. I think they're entertaining movies. Vin Diesel can't act worth crap At least they let the rest of the world know what's going on in the automotive worldbesides '57 Chevies and Hot rods. No offense to anyone.

Re: let's get in line now

If they threw some more muscle cars in the mix and got rid Vin Diesel, Maybe i'd consider watching this one.

id have to say i liked the 2nd one better, it had a better plot, and the cars/speed was more believable, no 10 second eclipses, or integras.

tho my fave car from all those movies was the RX7 that Vin drove in the 1st one
