keyless entry questions...

looking to buy a keyless entry(used) for my 1993 sc 400

which FCC identification is correct??(if you have a 1993 sc 400 please look and post it here please...)

also the dealer will charge me $45.00 to program it...is it easy to do on your own???

i would try myself if you walk me through...

please help!!!

your local dealer has 2 program your key 4 you. otherwise it could lock up your cars ECU (computer).

Not true. The transmitters on these cars can NOT be reprogrammed. The only option is to purchase a new ROM chip adn matching key from dealership. 1 key and chip is $370 (89705-50943-RK), 2 keys $475 (89705-50944-RK) adn 3 key $569 (89705-50945-RK).

Beware the eBayers that say these can be programmed.
