Talking Exhuast

So anyway.. What exhuast does everyone have? I want to buy a cat-back but i want something simi-silent but still sounds good.. i already want to buy the pace setter. seems pretty good mainly because it goes along with clean air laws and is 3", so not shabby... Anywho.. so anyone please post which exhuast you have, i'm pretty curious. Thanks.

Get a street exhaust, like 2.5", but much quieter then 3".

Re: Exhuast

why the hell do you need a 3" exhaust if you dont have a turbo car??? YOU WILL LOSS HP.. na car needs the compression to run efficently, by puting on a 3" you will loos hp.. i would go 2.5 at most more likey 2.25" is ideal..

3 inch actually does provide gain on a NA car. You won't see it until about 4.5k though. Point taken. 2.5 if you don't plan to turbo. Nice catback if you do.

i just got a HKS hi power catback its worth every penny nice aggresive angle look and is real quiet slightly louder then stock. Sounds kinda like a 350Z stock.

actually

a 3" exhaust gives the N/A KA a boost of about 10rwhp. dyno proven to give more hp thena 2.5" or similar

it actually doesn't loose low end torque like everyone thinks, and it is kinda loud but also tested was a dyno run with the silencer in the 3" catback , which resulted in 7rwhp gains, so the silencer removes 3 horsepower but even that route give you more power then a small N/A sized catback

Re: Exhuast

^word. It just shifts the noticable power higher into the RPM band. You can expect to feel it around 4-4.5k.
