HELP! installing 6x9 rear speakers in a '99

ok so i have the back all torn out and i go to put the speakers in and they hit the lil trunk bar thingy... HELP! any suggestoins would be greatly appriciated.

I've put systems in both a '96 and an '02 and never had any problem. What bar exactly are your speakers hitting?? Is it one of the bars that moves as the trunk opens and closes??
