Talking I got a sunfire !

Hi Y'all!!!

Just thought I would post in here......I am new to the message board and we just bought a 1995 Sunfire so I guess this is the place for me! We are slowly and I mean slowly modifying it into a sweet ride. We are starting with the interior and then we will go from there. I have never done anything like this before so if anyone wants to throw a tip my way go right ahead!!!

Thanks!

yea thats true the best kits ive seen is the dragon z and the one that gm makes which isnt really all tha that bad, as for engine im running a 2200 sfi right now was on the 2.4l but it died so i got this one for free there seems to be some promising mods at andy's auto sport but the engine itself is pretty trashy

and if you like go real fast for real cheap like me...hehe...check out www.exploitedracing.com, they have turbo kits for every sunfire/cavy engine from 95 up for as little as $2000...even though i need a tranny rebuild...im really considering that with a port and polished head...that would be a fearful sunfire...i mean cmon...2800lbs with about 250hp...hell yeah.
but as i say to everyone...if there is something you want to do, do it, its your car, its your thing, dont let anybody else try to get you down.

heck yeah id love to get the stage 3 but i think im just gonna go w/ the stage 2 and upgrade to the t3/t4....just to keep price down...make this sunfire a sleeper...at least till i get more $$ to do body work...which is actually needed because i have a dent in the passanger fender/door area...it sucks but hey nobody will ever see it coming...bwahahahaha!

ah, ill just get some sl style fenders off ebay for like 150, dont wanna go z3 fenders...freaking everybody is doing that. then ill beat the door back out or something, sand that lil spot, primer and paint back black. not too bad of damage on the door but the fender got worse because i kinda forced the door to open so no one would hafta climb through my window to get in and out...lol.
also id like to say my apologies to "babygirl" for us kinda taking over your thread, but hey if you looking to do engine work hit me up anytime, i knew nothing about motors till about 5 months ago when a buddy of mine rolled into town and needed some help to get his newly acquired 94 supra tt rebuilt (which is now a bad ass 550-600 whp monster), so i offered my hands and spent the next 3 months, everyday, under/in that car and now i cant get enough of doing car mods and helping people that dont know a lot about it and want to get into it.
well, now that ive written a novel into this thread...i'll stop short of taking up all the servers bandwith to load this freaking post...
