First Time Buyer

I am going to be buying a bike soon. I have read and been recommended by friends to stay below 600cc for a while, until i get the experience necessary to graduate to a larger size. My problem is that i am 6'9", thats 81 inches to put in better perspective. Any recommendation will help.

Re: First Time Buyer

You wouldn't by any chance be related to a Tom K, from Pittsburgh, PA, would you? Just a Q. If you are 6'9" you will probably need to get a 600 just for size alone. Just learn to be VERY gentle. My friend (Tom K, as a matter of fact) is like 6'5" or so, and he manages with an R6, which is odd since the R6 is one of the more notoriously cramped bikes. You may like the Honda F4i b/c it's got a very upright seating posture for most.
