help with body kit

i'm getting ready to head into my first body kit and was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out with it. I don't want to screw the whole thing up and have to spend another $20 or so bucks on another kit, but i'm not quite sure how to go about doing this. here is the kit i want to reproduce:
http://www.wingswest.com/products_de...?page=1&id=644
it's going to be in testor's mica blue without that ugly stripe across the windshield. i want to do the wing too and the wings west decals on the kit. i'll worry about the IC later as i'm going to be doing a GT-4 engine swap since i already cut out the hood. i would really appreciate help with this. thanks!

i think i can help you with the wing,

the wing from the Revell Integra Type R could probably be made into the wing seen in that pic with just a few mods

any one agree?

hope that helps, even if its a small amount

Re: help with body kit

If I should give you advice I would say: Practice puttying before you start this model. Buy a cheap kit and do something nice with it. Just to practice adding putty, sanding it etcetera. I did that too and it's worth it. But off course it's your choice.

Re: help with body kit

i think that i'll do that. i don't know why i didn't think of that. i still need help with this body kit too though because i don't know how to make one. i looked at hiro boy's prgress thread on his celica widebody (beautiful!!) but, correct me if i'm wrong, i think this one needs to be done differently.
