Front right wheel bearing.

Anyone know where I can get instructions on the net to install one of these babies in a 96 Grand AM GT?

Thanks!

Re: Front right wheel bearing.

I've looked around the web for that as well, I ended up going to the auto parts store and buying one of those do it yourself, illustrated manuals for 20.00 and now I will never work on my cars without reading up on the job. They come in handy. They even show you wiring diagrams, so you can identify what wires are for what.

Best 20.00 you could spend, if you wish to be a shade tree mechanic!

Re: Front right wheel bearing.

take off the wheel

remove axle nut (30mm)

have someone put car in nuetral, and spin the hub assembly until the hole in the flange lines up with one of the 3 torx screws that hold the hub to the steering knuckle, remove the 3 screws.

Installation is the opposite of removale

not a very hard job at all, as long as you eithe rhave an impact gun or a long breaker bar to break the axle nut loose
