Cool Help me decide.....on my new ride!

So, im thinking of getting my first car (I have always been a truck guy). due to inflated gas prices and high payments, im trading in my HEMI RAM.
Heres myrequirements:
Good gas mileage (20+ city)
reliable
2 or so years old (slightly used)
decent acceleration
ability to modify
less than 20 G's
not to small (im 6'4" 235lbs.)

heres my contestants:
2002 Acura RSX, or TL
2002 Honda accord
2002-03 Subaru WRX
Mitsubishi EVO (any one i can afford)
Mustang (cobra, bullit,mach 1, etc.)
ls1 type camaro

what do you think???????????????????

P.s. please dont turn this into a muscle vs. ricer thread.

Re: Help me decide.....on my new ride!

wouldnt that be costly, since the WRX requires premium fuel?

oh ok. i saw that the manufacturer reccomended premium. i didnt know if it would hurt the motor if you consistently filled with regular.

You're supposed to put premium in it, but it should be fine if you don't. The only one of those cars that you'd be stupid not to put premium in, is the Evo.

I'd say go for the 2002 WRX, or the 2002 Mustang GT.

cool. since we're on the topic of mustangs, i saw one of those Bullitt mustangs. do they have any performance upgrades, or is it just forest green paint, rims, and scoop w/ no spoiler. just wondering, i thought they looked kinda trick.

Re: Help me decide.....on my new ride!

They've got performance upgrades. The regular GT makes 260 hp/302 torque. The Bullitt/Mach 1 (same car, different name) makes somewhere around 310 hp/310 torque. So if you want the extra power and can afford a Bullitt, go for it

Re: Help me decide.....on my new ride!

what do you guys think of the 2005 stangs. im thinking of maybe a 2005 v-6 (Lx?). they start at 18K. have the retro muscle car styling. mpg is 20/29. and a few aftermarket upgrades (intake, cat-back, hypertech) might make it a pretty sweet ride. what do you guys think? i know it wont be as fast as alot of ricers, but itll have style.

Re: Help me decide.....on my new ride!

Yeah, I like the new V6 a lot, although I'd shell out the extra few thousand for the GT. The V6 is by no means a bad car though :T
