Drivers door won't open

Help.... I have a 1993 Chev Cavalier 2 door. The drivers door is in the closed position and won't open. The outside door handle was not working one day and the next day the door won't open at all.
I don't want to tear the door off the car to get it open. But I don't know what else to do. Once I get the door open I can take the door panel off and get to the linkage or what ever the problem is.
Do you have any suggestions.

You are unable to open it from the inside? You can remove the panel with the door closed. Then pull the linkage to open the door. Now you will be able to repair it. Good Luck.

No the door won't open from the inside either. It doesn't look as if the door panel is removeable with out the door being open. I will look again. Thanks so much for your reply.

It won't be easy to remove in the closed position. You will have to bow it some. There is a lip across the top that will make if very hard to do.
