Headers for 5.3

Hoping someone could give me some advice on what headers to buy. I'm not sure which brand yet. Ido know that I like the way the new Regency sounds and I noticed that truck has headers. Thanks in advance.

Re: Headers for 5.3

I dont get why anyone would buy short-length headers if they dont give you any gains in power? Are they cheaper or something?

I have JBA shortys on my 2000 5.3 and they're great. I do believe for all out hi-po the long tubes headers would be better. For everyday driving and a little gain, shortys are the ticket. The other nice thing about shortys is they are a direct replacement for the stock exhaust manifolds. No major exhaust work to deal with. Mike

If shortys are a direct replacement then I'm going to get them. All I'm relly into is the sound. Thanks everyone.
