Hey all,

As my 99 vtec civic was made in America, I though i'd ask americans about the best way to increase it's power.

It currently has 118kw (kilowatts) of power, and I'd love to increase both it's kilowatts and torque.

I want to keep the current engine (1.6litres), but don't mind the idea of turbocharging it. However a friend of mine (who knows quite a bit more about cars than i do), was worried about whether this would increase the general wear on the car, especially the clutch. Any ideas and approx cost would be appreciated.
