Not to my knowledge. The second Gen cefiro (VQ-powered FWD) is the same thing as the maxima, but the CA31 didnt have an american version.

Tank is right... The Maxima is the closest thing we get!

There was a rwd Maxima. The 1st generation, from 81-84. It's so old that it was also referred to as the Datsun 810. The car was basically a four-door Z.

FWD A32 Cefiro came to us as the Maxima and Infiniti I30/I35.

we do not have an A31 Cefiro (our "A31" Maxima was FWD even though it looked a bit like the Cefiro) or Chaser counterpart on our shores sadly (JZX100 is an insanely beautiful car), but the earliest A31 Cefiro's are now eligible for legal import into Canada under the 15-year law.

the toyota Cressida, it had the 1st and 2nd gen supra motor woot, but all the after market died for it, there were koin reds availible for it but they stoped producing them. and I think we only got auto's with them.

we got 5-speed but it's rare as fuck. some guy on Club4AG had one.

alot of Supra parts will fit Cressida's, and some people do make parts for them as they're fairly popular in Japan. a 7MGTE will slide in nicely.

i saw someone who put a 7MGTE in his, took out the front grille and put the FMIC in it's place. looked SO badass.

i want a silver Cressida wagon with 1JZGTE, FMIC in the grille, with black fender flares, black fender mirrors, a black lip spoiler on the back of the roof, and black 15 inch watanabe's.

Re: american version of cefiro or chaser?

Talk of Cefiro's makes me sad.. Now that I've been shipped back to the US (time off, then to Iraq), I've had to put my Cefiro (CA31) into storage on the base (Okinawa). I hate import laws.
