I believe in a 1/4 mile the GSR would win. longer than that the top end of the 3kGT would win

The gs-r pulls 15.3s or so, the 3000gt pulls 15.7s or so. It'd be close, but with all other things equal, I'd put my money on the teg. Now, if it's a vr-4, that's another story entirely...

nah the 3000gts run mid to low 15s even really high 14s with an awesome driver. a 15.7 would be with a really crappy driver.

which car is faster does not depend on the driver, a fast car is still a fast car. He's not asking who would win a race, but which car is faster...

Well, according to car-stats.com, the 3kgt runs a 15.8 and the gs-r a 15.2-15.7 (depending on the year.) That should answer your question well enough.

last wednesday i went to the track and saw some awesome type r's put up awesome numbers. lets start with the first 3. they ran 14.2-14.5. then going on to the real jdm type r. 13.6 all motor. i got vidoe to prove. this guy takes that sucker to 9600rpms. he said he has like an lt1 (?) head or something and all toda parts in the block. he said on the dyno he made power at 10000rpms and put down close to 300 hp to the wheels. he said he was a wuss and didnt wanna take it past 9600rpms. i dont blame him thats a shit load of money and its better to be safe than sorry. btw its right hand drive. and im in sac, cali.
