04 4Runner Blues

I just feel like venting so here I go...

Things that bug me about my 4Runner:

Buzz in brake pedal that apparently cannot be fixed
Driver's side rubber seal for window very noisey
Driver's side door rattles
Excessive wind noise coming from passenger side window (whistling sound)
Hill start assist does not work.

Things I like about my 4Runner:

It's new
Powerful engine
Stiff but comfortable ride
Stylish
Solid
Roomy
Cool rear power window
Nice radio
Nice LCD display for climate control and computer info

Sometimes the things that bug me tend to overshadow those that I like and this little rant kind of helps me put all of that into perspective.

Sounds like you need further discussion with a sympathetic Toyota dealer. All of the things you mentioned have been seen before and fixed in other trucks. Try again.
