when we installed the zc we used the stock vx tranny, and now at about 6000rpm it doesnt whant to pick up anymore, and according to the D16y8 stats it dont redline untill 7200. is it the tranny? any info would be great, if it is the tranny what tranny should i get?
if it matters i forgot to mention that it is the sohc vtec zc just incase it matters |

I've got a sohc zc in my 94 cx hatch and at 4k in first I'm having that problem. I think it is the tranny.

It is the tranny if you guys have the lower end model rex's. the best tranny for the zc engine is either the original zc tranny or one out of an Si rex, they work much better with this engine.
