93 Camry cruise control problem

I own a 93 Camry with 155K. In the past few weeks, my cruise control has gone on the blitz - the cruise light on the dash blinks on when I click the control button, but when I attempt to set it, nothing happens. The cruise light blinks on and off for a few seconds and then dies altogether.

Is this a difficult or expensive fix? Thanks for any input!

Re: 93 Camry cruise control problem

Might just be the electrical connector on the cruise control is loose. The connector is on the front of the c/c unit which is just behind the radiator on the driver's side next to the battery. See if taking the connector off and pushing it back on solves the problem.
