Rubbing issue: Big rims + Lowered car

Hello,
I am new to this board so I will introduce myself.
I live in Knoxville, TN and have a '01 Prelude. Here's
a quick picture taken w/ my phone:

I am having issues with my tires rubbing inside my well (due to the topography of my area) after installing some 225/18 tires with 5Zigen rims. Also the car is lowered 1.5" with Eibach springs and the struts have been replaced with KYB AGX. With the struts set to either most or least stiff, it still has the issue. It only rubs on bumps (esp going fast) and sharp turns or quick stops. Has anyone tried rolling out the fenders with the "baseball bat technique"? Even with the small black seal gone it still rubs against the fender. Any input on this would be great. (I am NOT investing in a wide body conversion)

but any how, your car looks sweet as hell with the larger tires/rims. it really fills the void found in most ludes.

Re: Rubbing issue: Big rims + Lowered car

The baseball technique works, but I still cringe at the thought of it. I would ask someone that has done it before, maybe in the bodykit forum, cars in general forum, or even the suspension forum.

If I were to do it, I would notch out the insides of my fender where it folds under the car so that when you DO roll the bat between the tire and fender, it doesn't stretch the metal as much.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Nice looking wheels. FNO1R-C?
